In the Parade magazine from the first weekend of April there was a listing of the Top 10 Personal Finance Apps for Smart Phones. I’m dabbling with mint.com and we should all know Paypal and Turbotax by now, but the others were new to me. I thought I’d share in case some of you can benefit too. This is just a quick listing so if you want more info you can visit http://wearelivingonabudget.com/10-top-personal-finance-apps/.

Let me know if you are already using any of these and what you think!
Born and raised in Texas. I’ve at least driven through every state in the US courtesy of a roadtrip loving Dad.
I’m single with two children and a good parenting relationship with their father.
I am a “life is just half full of funny” kinda gal. Humor is my saving grace and I am thankful for it every single day. I have a strong Catholic faith and am thankful for that foundation.
I read a lot for a living but still enjoy a good book. I love biographies but in recent years have found the need for fun fictional books–sadly, for a long time I just didn’t enjoy fiction!
I love live theatre of any kind–from local productions to Broadway.
I love to scrapbook and pride myself in my kids’ albums.
I love being a mom but also love my career. I’m blessed to have found a balance allowing me to be at everything my kids need and want me to be at–while also having a career.

Mint is amazing. So much easier tracking spending habits using Mint!
I use Mint to share account info between myself and the fiance, as well as record bill due dates. But mostly, I use my bank’s app.
I can second the Mint app! I love mint. Been using it for the last 2 year to manager our finances. It’s not perfect but it definitely works me. I tried the Quicken software but it was just too complicated and didnt look pretty to me. I like a good GUI ;). I use the Mint app and online application. Plus, its free 😉
Whoop! Whoop!
Thanks for linking up to my article. Like the others, I’m a huge fan of Mint!
I love what’s the cost as well. It allows you to see how to pay and what the interest would be based on payments.
We like eeba. After paying our bills we get a monthly allowance for food, gas, entertainment, kids clothes and household items. With eeba me and my husband can plug in what we spend and it syncs. We always know how we’re doing. If you overspend it tells you for how many days to stop spending.
I have been using Paypal for quite some time now and the service is great. Anyway, I am curious as to the other apps on the list. Many of you seem to be hooked on the Mint and I will give it a try. The others I hope you will make another article discussing each app. The more choices we have the better we can manage our finances. Cheers!
I love Mint and use Paypal often. I have a mint app on my Kindle Fire and I love checking it randomly 🙂
