I’ve been looking at several blogs today and discovered that I really like the ones that give me a picture of the blogger. It makes the whole experience that much more real when you have a mental picture of the person behind the blog. So, although I NEVER thought I’d go here…I’m posting a picture of me and Steve. This was taken at a New Year’s Eve celebration right before we kicked off our debt reduction plan. I’m sure whatever we enjoyed to eat and drink that evening was not actually paid for in cash! OH well, at least I’m trying to find humor in it!
Oh and that’s my salon hair that also was paid for via credit. Sniff Sniff….please just allow me to fondly remember my salon hair days! I won’t be going back to the salon until December! 🙂
Anyway…nothing more to post right now…just wanted to introduce our faces to you! This is a big day for me—to share a picture. I truly see it as another step in my journey to debt-free living…makes it all the more real for me!
Born and raised in Texas. I’ve at least driven through every state in the US courtesy of a roadtrip loving Dad.
I’m single with two children and a good parenting relationship with their father.
I am a “life is just half full of funny” kinda gal. Humor is my saving grace and I am thankful for it every single day. I have a strong Catholic faith and am thankful for that foundation.
I read a lot for a living but still enjoy a good book. I love biographies but in recent years have found the need for fun fictional books–sadly, for a long time I just didn’t enjoy fiction!
I love live theatre of any kind–from local productions to Broadway.
I love to scrapbook and pride myself in my kids’ albums.
I love being a mom but also love my career. I’m blessed to have found a balance allowing me to be at everything my kids need and want me to be at–while also having a career.

You are really beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Claire! Hi Steve!
That’s great! I love blogs with faces on them – but I’m too scared to put mine up!!!
Hey–that’s a great picture of you both!
I admit, for some reason, I was picturing you as having blonde hair. I’m not sure why. 🙂
I think she mentioned in a past post about her salon visits that she had black hair.
I think you are totally right… the blogs that I read religiously are the ones that talk about themselves and their families.
You are beautiful!!!!
Thanks for sharing!!! I pictured you as a blonde too.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing!
Same here Blonde
Claire, you are so beautiful! You make a wonderful couple and I am so excited to watch your progress. Thank you for doing this blog and helping keep us motivated to get out from under our own debt.
You’re a beautiful couple! I also pictured you with blonde hair! Thanks for sharing!
I pictured you blonde, as well, but maybe that’s because I’m blonde, and I’m Claire, too. 🙂
You two are a great looking couple! Thanks for the reveal. 😀
You are a beautiful couple! And I just noticed that you have already paid off $6,000 in debt. Congratulations!!!
You guys are a very handsome couple!! Thank you for sharing!!
Lovely photo, saying hi from Sydney Australia
I imagined dirty blonde! For some reason your husband looks like I imagined.
What a good looking couple! And just think of those smiles will get even wider and brighter as you get closer to being debt-free! 🙂
Wow I totally had you as a blond and your husband with brown hair too. So good to see your face and picture you now when I “read” you speaking. too fun!
Julene–I’m laughing at how many people thought I was blonde. Is that a Texas stereotype I wonder? Funny!
No idea why I thought you were much older looking (yep and blonde with short hair). Maybe coz you have so many kids? Anyway, great picture! You look like you are in your mid-late twenties
