Sorry for being AWOL today, I did start my money update but didn’t get it completed. It’s taking me a bit longer than expected to get back in the swing of things since being gone for two weeks…I’m still living out of my suitcase after 4 days home if that gives you any idea of how things have gone.
So just a couple of bulleted updates:
- My goal of picking up new work has already been successful with not one but two new projects with signed contracts….more on that in a couple of weeks.
- Returned to my part time job this week, it was really hard, but I am so blessed to have it and a wonderful manager who truly, truly will work with my crazy schedule.
- Have gotten really sick again since returning, seems to be the same thing I had right before I left. I’m miserable but still trying to hold things together. Luckily, it just seems to be me and not the kids.
- Enjoying having a son learning to drive, can’t wait til he’s mastered it so I can have a full time chauffeur! (Although I did tell him after his first attempt at parking in our driveway that our neighbors are going to think I’ve taken up drinking and drove home drunk as crooked as the car has been…but he is improving.)
I will have a completed money update including budget, debt and income next week barring this sickness sticking around. I appreciate your support, sorry I was lax in not getting this ready ahead of time.

Hope, are you sure its not allergies? I developed a dust mite allergy as an adult, and thought I just had a cold that lasted three months!
Hope-
I hope you feel better soon, I agree with checking if it might be adult-onset allergies. My mother developed them after my parents moved to Northern Virginia and her doctor told her that Virginia is so horrible for allergy sufferers and that he has seen many folks who never had allergies before they moved to Virginia (my dad is now retired military so they see a doctor who sees a lot of Virginia transplants.)
Thank you though for taking the time to pop in to give us a quick update of what is going on. I must admit that I had checked in several times today and was starting to get worried that something had happened to you or one of your kids that was keeping you from posting. I am glad there is nothing too horrible going on.
I look forward to seeing your numbers next week. I am sure that as successful as you were as keeping numbers down on your trip that you will have a great end of month outcome!
Cheers,
Meghan
