I hope you aren’t reading this today. I hope you are surrounded by family or good friends. Sleeping in, eating rich foods and enjoying the day. But if you are reading this…then may I be the first to wish you

a Very Merry Christmas from my Family to Yours!
and then to wish myself a
a Very Happy Birthday
Yes, today really is my birthday. As a sidenote, I accept good advice, constructive criticism and lots of cheerleading…not just on my birthday but every day. Just saying!
I hope you know that there is a Reason for this Season. I hope you find that Reason. And most of all, if you are alone or a single parent like me, know that with all my heart I wish you love and peace today. It’s very hard to be a single parent on this day, very hard. Know that you are not alone, and I for one am thinking of you. You are loved, you are thought of and you are important.

Though her kids are now finding their footing in the world—pursuing education, careers, and independence—she remains deeply committed to supporting them in this next chapter, even as she faces the bittersweet tug of letting go.
Since joining the Blogging Away Debt community in 2015, Hope has candidly shared her journey of financial ups and downs. Now, with a renewed focus and a clear path ahead, she’s ready to tackle her finances with the same passion and perseverance that she’s brought to her life and career. Through her writing, she continues to inspire others to confront their own financial challenges and strive for a brighter future.
Aahh hey, I’m a Christmas baby too! Many warm wishes back to you.
