Monthly Average Grocery Bill?

by

A few visitors that have been arriving here for searching for the Monthly Average Grocery Bill.

When they come here, they’ll only find my spending which is around $300-400 for a family of 3. But it got me thinking about asking everyone about your grocery bills.

Anyone else care to share your family size and how much you spend on groceries?

I have never been one to use coupons because I always thought that store brands were less expensive, but after seeing this guy eating well on $1 a day so his average monthy grocery bill is less than $30, I may give it a try.

Friday Blog Highlight – I’m Changing Things a Little

by

I’ll still have a Friday Blog Highlight, but it will be highlighting articles that caught my attention during the week. I found some great articles this week that you might enjoy, so I felt like sharing.

First off is Globguru at Musings of a Graduate Student. He shares that he has 18 credit cards and not a single late payment. Here I am worried about 4 credit card payments!

Secondly, we have John at Mighty Bargain Hunter. He gives us a little bit of insight into his personality when he discusses how, This P Has to be More J About his Finances. He is talking about the Myers-Briggs type indicator. Me, I used to be an ISFJ in high school, but when I took the test my third year of college I was an INTJ. Perhaps all along I was an INTJ, but I thought I was more of an ISFJ. Anyways, I probably should look at how my type relates to personal finances sometime soon. It could be very informative.

Lastly, there was a question I enjoyed over at AllFinancialMatters. JLP asked, Has a song or piece of music ever given you goosebumps when you listen to it?. You can see my comment over there. Basically, I have felt them one time while playing music and it was one of the greatest feelings in the world.
